I also have problem with plasma-desktop eating my notebook's memory. I use KDE
SC 4.5.0 on a Gentoo x86_64 installation. I have noticed that when I close one
notification in the notification plasmoid the plasma-desktop process eats more
memory (1 to 2 MB for each notification closed). That is weird, closing the
notification should release memory and not increase its usage.
