Summary: GUI seems to allow immortable configuration settings
           Product: kiosk
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: scrubb at localroot.de

Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I have tagged the screensaver settings of a Fedora KDE installation as immortal
by creating /usr/share/config/kscreensaverrc with the following content:

[ScreenSaver]
Enabled[$i]=true
Lock[$i]=true
LockGrace[$i]=1
Timeout[$i]=300

Now a unused desktop is locked after 5 minutes. But when a user goes into the
destop settings he can change the values and apply them. When he opens the
dialog again the immortal defaults are recovered.

This behavior confuses the user. All input fields of immortal configuration
settings should be greyed and not changeable.
