When X crashes, it is a bug in the X server or inside drivers (graphics or
input drivers). When you are seeing the bug with global hot keys, it could be
related to keyboard handling.

Please report this bug to http://bugs.freedesktop.org/ as the X server is not
part of the KDE Software Compilation. Also, the X server does not depend on any
KDE functionality, so bugs in KDE cannot cause the X server to crash.
