Summary: KDE applications crash when hitting Ctrl+C in a
                    windows/cygwin console
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: MS Windows
        OS/Version: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: fliegenblues at gmx.net

Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: MS Windows
Installed from: MS Windows

Hello!

I have noticed the following bug in the Windows port of KDE 4.3.0: When
starting a KDE application, e.g. kwrite or konqueror, on the Windows console
(cmd.exe) or the cygwin console (here by typing "kwrite &", so that the program
runs in the background), and then hitting Ctrl+C on the console prompt, the KDE
application running in the background crashes. I emphasize: The applications
are running in the _background_, so that they actually shouldn't recieve the
termination signal sent to the console by Ctrl+C. Actually they should continue
to run as usual.
