Sorry - hard to explain for me with my english knowledge.

After intsalling new Karmic Koala on a blank disk with following updates
(without updates the same) and KDE as Desktop there are three Displayproblems.

1. Panel: The Panel itself an the Flyout-Hint when Mouse is over the Icon
2. Startmenu: 
3. Window-Decoration

In every of the three above, there is no regular display, but only a grey field
(the Panel-Flyouts sometimes black) with lots of vertical stripes. But the
general function of the panel and startmenu works properly.

Using the Ubuntu or Xubuntu-Desktop everything is fine, so i suggest it is a
Problem with KDE.

Hardware: IBM Thinkpad R40
