Summary: deleting file to trash from usb drive is copying file
to my home directory
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: benderamp at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs
Open usb drive in dolphin, press del and confirm moving file to trash. The file
would start copying from flash disk to my home directory which looks confusing
- the deletion process takes too long and I defenetely do not want to have
those files in my home directory.
Things get worse if the file was rather big (eg. some film) and there is no
enough space in /home directory - so I can't delete file on flash drive cause
my home partition becomes full.
For external media trash directory should be located on same volume, so delete
process would be instant as renaming.
