I'm sure they're working on this, but it also greatly depends on other factors,
including your distro: for example, my Arch install with KDE is a well under
300MB (not bad for these days), while Ubuntu would be considerably more
resource-hungry.  Netbooks are a valid concern, but keep in mind, you're not
likely to have three users logged into a netbook at once, either.  It would be
more helpful if you had some concrete suggestions.
