Added and it still has the same problem.

My OpenGL options in System Settings ->Desktop -> Advanced are :
Compositing Type -> OpenGL
OpenGL Mode -> Texture from Pixmap.
Texture Filter -> Trilinear
Enable Direct Rendering -> Checked.
Use VSync -> Checked.
SmoothScaling -> Checked.

Does it have anything to do with full screen rewriting? Are there any tests to
check a full screen rewrite/refresh and check the performance?
