Summary: dolphin tries to mount ext4 external usb drive as ext3
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: s.illes79 at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I have converted my external usb drive to use ext4. Before that I was able to
click and mount with dolphin. But now dolphin tries to mount as ext3, which
obviously fails if the fs is using ext4 attributes like: extents.

workaround:
adding a new entry to /etc/fstab:
/dev/disk/by-id/usb-SAMSUNG_HM250JI_SAMSUNG_HMS0TVJD0Q311736-0:0-part1
/media/DeLock250GB ext4 acl,user_xattr,user 1 1

expected:
kde should be able to mount external ext4 fs without messing around in fstab.
