Everytime I delete one or more files, I can see an information icon in the
taskbar, and and a progress bar raises displaying the progress indeed. But it
seems that KDE gives too much importance to this progress bar, and then takes
forever to delete 10 or 15 files together. I have run tests in three laptops
already, deleting 15 mp3 files using Gnome, KDE4 and from terminal (konsole)
and KDE times are really higher than Gnome (and much more compared to Konsole).

The same happens when deleting from Konqueror, Dolphin or Folder View (from KDE
desktop).
