Summary: The key you just pressed isn't supported by Qt
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.2.4
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: hagar at iinet.net.au

Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Too many shortcut keys are not supported by QT even though they are defined in
X11.

Current ones include -
XF86Documents
XF86Pictures
XF86Music
XF86WWW
XF86Messenger
XF86LogOff
Undo
Redo
XF86New
XF86Open
XF86Close
XF86Reply
XF86Send
XF86Spell
XF86Save

and

MENU doesn't register at all.

There are sure to be others.

The keyboard is a Microsoft Multimedia keyboard V1.0A
mapped as - Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A
(closest fit)

But have come across this problem on other keyboards as well.

One should not have to remap the keys just because QT is too short sighted to
map them properly.

Please use X11 for keyboard mappings again.
