Also not sure how useful this is, but #88 is _only_ happening right after
closing a window with alt-f4, usually followed immediately by a alt-tab. As f4
and tab are very near to each other on my X31 and I am a touch typist, we are
really speaking about a few dozen or hundred milliseconds in between.
