Summary: Display settings not honored at session start
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.2.4
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: MathStuf at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When starting KDE, the display settings are not applied. Here, I have an issue
with the driver thinking the resolution is 800x600. This is continued into a
KDE session where my settings are set to 1440x900 (the actual maximum).
However, I believe something similar would happen if the settings would be
lower than the actual.

Expected behavior:
Honor resolution settings when starting up instead of continuing whatever KDM
was given by the driver.
