Summary: fish:// protocol doesn't connect in KDE 4.3 RC1
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: p1703 at gmx.net
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Compiler: (used kubuntu ppa-packages linked on kubuntu.org)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
In KDE 4.2 I used fish://username@websitename.de in Konqueror/Dolphin to
connect an ssh webserver. After upgrading to KDE 4.3 RC1 using the Kubuntu
ppa-packages linked on http://kubuntu.org , I cannot connect anymore. Just
after entering the URL, pressing <enter> and entering the password, I get an
error page (Konqueror) or message (Dolphin) saying that the connection was
closed unexpectedly. I assume that this is a general KDE problem, because it
occured in more than one application.
When I open the Konsole and enter "ssh username at websitename.de" it works, so I
exclude other connection problems.
