Actually, it's been a bit since I checked, but I seem to remember being able to
run systemsettings as root in Kubuntu.

However, whenever I did, Samba settings would never be there, so it was pretty
useless to me in that regard. It helped me do some other stuff, though.

I'd really just like the admin mode button back. It made everything so simple.
As it is now, there's no way to edit Samba settings in KDE4 via the GUI.
