Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Hit "ALT+F2" to bring up the "Run Command" dialog.  Type something that doesn't
correspond to a program or path on the computer ("kljafhkalsjhfg" works well). 
Hit "Enter".

Expected result: Some sort of feedback.

Actual result: Nothing happens.
