During routine updates (Fedora 10), kpackagekit icon appears in the tray, and
then unexpectedly crashes. I did not have gdb installed, so the system did not
give me more useful information. I will install the package and give more
details when I can.

I repoted this similar bug when trying Mandriva 2009, but the system would not
update, and I would receive a crash notice a .

I will be more diligent in providing additional feedback. I am a Linux newbie,
who became hooked after trying it. I enjoy KDE more than Gnome, so I am trying
to assist in any way that I can.
