Summary: Brightness control doesn't work, Samsung NC10
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: andrea.cimitan at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
I can't control the brightness of my notebook.
When I move the slider in the plasma applet nothing works (the brightness
remains the same), when I try to do it through the shell I don't see any
changes:
###
[cimi at gemini ~]$ solid-powermanagement brightness set 100
Setting brightness to 100%
[cimi at gemini ~]$ solid-powermanagement brightness get
Brightness is 0%
###
and this is the output of lshal | grep -i bright:
###
[cimi at gemini ~]$ lshal | grep -i bright
input.keymap.data = {'e002:displaytoggle', 'e003:battery', 'e004:prog1',
'e006:wlan', 'e008:brightnessup', 'e009:brightnessdown', 'e031:prog2',
'e033:prog3', 'e034:wlan', '0074:prog1', '0075:www', 'e077:f22', '0078:mail',
'e079:f22'} (string list)
