Summary: side panel grows at each startup
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: edwin at orangeport.net

Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I have a side panel that is not stretched to the bottom of the screen, but is
big enough to hold the widgets. The panel gets larger each time I start KDE. It
happens when there is a widget in it; an empty panel stays as it is.

If I click the properties button of the panel, I see that the button to set the
lower border is up at the position where the panel should actually end. A touch
of that button makes the panel size jump back to the correct size again.
