Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-910240
KDE: 4.2.60 (KDE 4.2.60 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090116))
kdelibs svn rev. 916868 / kdebase svn rev. 916868
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.28.1

There is no "Cut" or "Copy" options in a Folderview (containment or plasmoid),
even if there are some files selected. I suppose this could be a limitation of
the desktop:/ kioslave, but after changing to Home, I'm getting the same
behaviour.

However, I get Ark menus (extract and compress options)
