Summary: Offer restart as option for crashed programs
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kossebau at kde.org

Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

It might be useful to offer the restart of the crashed program as an option.

It could be used to reuse the given commandline.
Better, to achieve a closest reestablishing of the previous state of the given
program, there could be an API to store the current state in certain
intervalles, similar to the session support. Perhaps the restart could be even
done automatically, of course catching looping crashes, as usually the program
was supposed to continue running.
