Summary: wish: have proxy to authenticate without asking for
                    password
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: cassianoleal at gmail.com

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I have Amarok2 playing songs. I am behind a corporate proxy with
authentication. At the beginning of every song, Amarok asks me to authenticate
with the proxy as it is probably downloading song info/album
art/lyrics/whatever from the web.

This is very annoying, though. I have already saved my proxy password in my
kde-wallet, but I still have to press Ok at the beginning of every song.

I wish there were options in that dialogue, such as:

- Always allow the application to authenticate automatically
- Allow application to authenticate until it closes
- Allow automatic proxy authentication until session ends
- Always try to authenticate with the proxy automatically.

This way, I would only need to enter my wallet password once and the proxy
would then be out of my way from there on.
