manual configuration issues

adding a manual wired profile leads to the following issues.

1. The add button in the IP Addreess tab (Addresses section) does not work.
2. the generated profile contains this info
[connection]
autoconnect=true
id=officeA4
type=802-3-ethernet
uuid={2fd8c794-886b-48a8-ad5f-6e53c311497f}

[ipv4]
dns=192.168.1.3
dnssearch=asg
method=manual


However when if one tried to edit the profile the file is wrongly read the
method is set to dhcp.
Overall the manual wired connection does not work.
