When i adjust the screen to the correct resolution, then KDE apps know the
change and will behave normall, but NON-KDE applications not, till now i have
come across this problem when using VLC after i adjusted my screen resolution.

I am no expert, but i think this happens because KDE, or Kubuntu, doesbt select
the right screen resolution, this is already reported, but its 2 different
bugs.
