Summary: synchronize kde environment between multiple machines
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: matthew.pocock at ncl.ac.uk

Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have a desktop and a laptop. I'd like the environment on both to be kept in
sync. This means mirroring some of the home space, and making sure all those
application settings are common between the two. Of course, there's always
going to be *something* that needs to be set one way for my laptop and another
way for my desktop.

So, it sounds like KDE needs a framework for managing, merging and
synchronizing application settings across multiple machines.

This feature would greatly enhance 'user experience' for those who live a
semi-roaming life, and don't have the option of hosting some stuff 'in the
sky'.
