Summary: Opening link from external application brings browser
                    to current desktop
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: alexc223 at googlemail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: I Don't Know

I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug, or expected behaviour (though it isn't
for me), however when clicking on a link from an external application (say,
Quassel or KMail) the web browser currently open will appear on the current
desktop.

Imo, it shouldn't do this - the browser should stay on which ever desktop it is
on.

For example, I have 4 desktops (1 row) which have: Desktop1: Firefox, Desktop2:
Kate, Desktop 3: IRC+Kopete, Desktop 4: Konsole. This keeps things nice and
organised, however when clicking on a link in IRC or Kopete, it then breaks
that by bringing Firefox into Desktop 3 - meaning I have to move it back to
Desktop 1.
