Summary: cannot access DVD-RW disc
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: victorjss at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
When I insert into my drive a DVD-RW (DVD movie), the actions dialog shows
three options: play in Dragon Player, open with Dolphin and do nothing.
If I select "play with Dragon Player" I will be able to play the DVD with no
problems.
If I choose to open the disc with Dolphin, it shows me a "access denied to
/media/DVD VR" on the status bar.
I have attached some extra output from different commands:
mount:
/dev/scd1 on /media/DVD VR type udf (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,uid=1000)
ls -l /media/DVD VR
ls: no se puede acceder a /media/DVD VR/VIDEO_TS: Permiso denegado
ls: no se puede acceder a /media/DVD VR/VIDEO_RM: Permiso denegado
total 0
?????????? ? ? ? ? ? VIDEO_RM
?????????? ? ? ? ? ? VIDEO_TS
sudo ls -l /media/DVD\ VR (note the different result):

"Permiso denegado" is shown because of the Spanish setup and it is the same as
"Permission denied". The question marks are shown exactly in that way.
