Summary: files copied from camera:/ have no write permissions
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: yabolus at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
I downloaded some photos from my camera (Fujifilm A850) and wanted to resize
them - then I noticed that the files have no write permissions:
$ ls -l 100_FUJI/
razem 24120
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 14007050 sty 1 1970 DSCF0160.AVI
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1769331 sty 1 1970 DSCF0161.JPG
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1784811 sty 1 1970 DSCF0162.JPG
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1801877 sty 1 1970 DSCF0163.JPG
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1767588 sty 1 1970 DSCF0164.JPG
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1774065 sty 1 1970 DSCF0165.JPG
-r--r--r-- 1 piotrek piotrek 1784977 sty 1 1970 DSCF0166.JPG
On a side note: it would be really nice if there were some pop-up saying that a
camera has been plugged in. As of now, i had to guess (!) the url "camera:/" to
access it.
