KDE 4.2.0, kernel 2.6.24-gentoo-r3, architecture: amd64
I have no switch button (to get to root mode) in systemsettings. Furthermore
# systemsettings
does not work - no window appears. 
"$ sudo systemsettings" or "$ kdesu systemsettings" works.
It would be great if there is admin button back or if # systemsettings works as
it is possible in KDE 3.5.x
