I upgraded to 4.2 via Yast yesterday to test it out. Because I upgraded, and
did not do a fresh install, that may have influenced the bug. 

KWallet does now start and run, and appears to be functioning. However, in the
previous report I mentioned that it did not see my previous passwords. Now it
sees them, but will not use them, but it does know they are there because when
I enter the replacement it places it right below the original with a "-1"
appender. So I am still left with the problem of having to re-enter all my
passwords by hand.
