Summary: laptop some fn function keys not supported
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: musthafameeran at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi, Two of the function keys of my laptop which I use most are not working !!!

Fn + F3 - Standby
Fn + F4 - Switch display

HP/Compaq nc6400 laptop

When I try to press Fn + F3 for standby in the System Settings-> Global
Keyboard Shortcuts -> Guidance Power Manager -> Standby -> Custom, I get the
following error

"The key you just pressed isn't supported by Qt"

Both these keys are working fine in Ubuntu 8.10 Gnome that I have.
I have started using kde4 after 4.2 was released and I find it very compelling
in terms of usability.

Thanks a lot...
