Summary: In table view, don't change size of other columns
while resizing one of them
Product: unknown
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: diafero at arcor.de
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Since this widget is shared throughout KDE, I did not know against which
component to report the problem.
I would like to see a functionality brought back which was in KDE3 (or maybe
even in Qt3, I don't know): When I change the size of a column in a table view
(like the KRunner task manager), currently the column to the right of the
slider I am moving changes its size, too. So for example if I want to change
the width of the "CPU" column in the task manager but leave all other columns
the same size, that is hard to achieve as I can not change this column's size
without changing the column to the right, too. I have to start at the left of
the table and then adapt all columns from left to right, and when I make a
mistake or want to change it later on, I have to start from scratch.
