Summary: KDE configuration files truncated on crash when using
                    ext4
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.2.2
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: jdmulloy at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

KDE configuration files end up truncated after an unclean unmount on a file
system that uses delayed allocation, such as ext4. Ext4 has been patched to
mitigate this issue, but it should still be investigated and fixed.
