Control-alt-keypad multiply appears to fix the keyboard issue for me, when it
occurs.

Unfortunately, it also causes the same problem that killing kded4 does: No
alt-tab'ing, no hotkeys, etc.

As I said before, this is on KDE 4.2.1, x86_64, Fedora 10.
