When I login to KDE 4.1.1 in Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex, I get the splash screen
which loads to the end, then I get a white screen with just the cursor. I left
the computer for a while (2 hours) then returned, and the screen was black with
no cursor. The same bug is seen  when I created a new user and logged in as
that user.
