I've noticed that in various applications keypresses do not always register.
This seems to happen when I'm typing quickly. It happens in different
applications such Kate and Firefox, but not in all (for example Konsole seems
to be OK, or maybe it takes more to cause it and I haven't run across the
problem on Konsole). I don't know what they have in common, some editing widget
maybe. 

The keyboard is also not an issue as I mentioned that it doesn't happen in
Konsole and also on a previous version of KDE it worked fine.

I've tried changing the values of the keyboard delay and rate but so far I
haven't found relief.

It's very irritating, and I wish it would be fixed.
