Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Dual booting windows 98se and kubuntu 8.1. My set up works OK in windows.
However, in kubuntu 8.1 my monotor suffers frequent closedowns and the monitor
menu system becomes in-operable. Monitor is flat screen L7AK2.
