I have many ftp folders in remote:/ and I very often use ftp connections. Now
it stopper working - every time i try to connect to any ftp via konqueror or
dolphin i get "internal error report this to..."
I am using kde 4.1 on kubuntu, everything installed straight from repositories.

Source of the problem is that I use ftp connections in active mode.

When I changed the setting back to "use passive mode" in system settings ftp
connections are working as expected.
