When I right-click on the desktop and select "configure desktop", the configure desktop window shows up. "Picture" is blank, as is the preview screen. I click on the "page" doodad to the right of the "picture" pull-down menu, and select my own jpg. The preview screen (and the "Picture" pull-down) are still blank. I click "Apply". Nothing happens. My desktop is still the same as before.
