Summary: Login impossible with full hard disk
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: ubuntu martin-graesslin com

Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: 0Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When you try to login to KDE with a full hard disk the login is accepted, but KDE does not start and returns to KDM login screen without giving any error message. I don't know if it is a general KDE bug or a KDM bug.

Actually I understand the behaviour and it is probably correct ;-) But it would be great if a usefull error message would be printed, so that the user can fix the problem.

I noticed this behaviour on my own system once and I saw it twice in the German ubuntuusers Forum during the last weeks. Actually I don't know if it still exists in the 4.0 series but I expect so.
