Summary: Incorrect entries for KDE applications in start menu
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
        OS/Version: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: ivovh users sf net

Version: (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from: MS Windows Binaries
OS: MS Windows

I installed the beta KDE for windows packages. There are two problems with the start menu entries:

1) The applications are placed in the start menu in the 'KDE 4.00.XX' folder, where XX is the current version. I first installed 4.00.80, but this folder was not removed when upgrading to 4.00.83 using the installer. So I now have two KDE folders in the start menu with exactly the same contents.

2) Some applications have their names split and are placed in an additional subfolder. For example Kompare is at:
'Development'
    'Kompare (Diff'
        'Patch Frontend)'

Kiten is at:
'Education'
    'Languages'
        'Kiten (Japanese Reference'
            'Study Tool)'
