[Bug 160484] After logging out and a new login the screen stays black instead of showing the desktop. Logging in works again for 1 time after restarting X (strg+alt+backspace).

I can't reproduce this using svn trunk r815578. Are you still having this issue? If so, can you try upgrading to KDE 4.0.4. Also, does this problem occur only when logging in as one particular user, or as any user?
