I can see my printer's card reader in the filesystem manager but I can't use
it. It is not auto recongnize and available like a usb key.

Is the card reader recognised from the system? For example is it displayed on lsusb or on dmesg?<br>
<br>
If not, this is not a KDE fault, but the problem is on a more deeper level.<br>
