Summary: Hotplug is not working correctly for lefthanded mouse
                    (at least for usb mouse).
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: mieszcz zabrze zigzag pl

Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2.5
OS: Linux

In xorg-x11 v 7.2 there is hotplug function available, and it works well with kde, except one thing.

I personally use lefthanded mouse, so to remap mouse buttons kde uses xmodmap during initialization, and this leads into the problems.
When I plug the mouse after starting up of the kde, or if I replug the mouse when stay logged, or if I suspend system, and restore it to normal work, my mouse lose its button settings, and mouse become right handed mouse. This is really anonying.

I suppose that the same problem would occur for usb keyboards (but haven't tried).
