I'm not sure if this has been reported as a wish or want recently, but I would like to see the new task bar kicker replacement to be more like the older kicker.  I like all the updates to the desktop for the most part in KDE4.0 but I would like to be able to make the new task bar re-sizable, color changeable, and transparent capable? Also change the kickoff menu to another menu system. Maybe this is all in the pipeline but I thought I would put in my vote.
