The problem -appears- to be fixed (yay! pure qt, kde, and gtk apps all working
together!) in markc's kde4-svn nightly binary build for Arch Linux on Dec. 12,
2008, using the qt package from the same repository titled
"qt-snapshot-4.5.0-2008121101". Thank goodness. That was annoying me more than
anything else on kde4!
