Without a backtrace it's nearly impossible to track down this bug. I', sorry,
but for now I'm closing it. We will reopen it, if further information become
available.
There still some things you can try:
- Does it work with another LiveCD? If so, it's very likely not a KDE bug, you
should file a bug in your distros bug tracker.
- Do you have the possibility to try a more recent LiveCD with KDE4 or at least
3.5.10?
- If possible, try to install the distro to your harddisk. Thus you will be
able to install debug packages for the backtrace.
