Proceeding:

1) Update with "http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu intrepid main".
2) Log out.
3) Log in.

One widget is missing on the desktop and two on the taskbar. I have lovely red
boxes with a white X instead.

The missing widgets:

 * plasma_applet_notes (desktop)
 * quickaccess (taskbar)
 * showdashboard (taskbar)
