Theme is Mandriva, which is the standard theme "out of the box". I tried
changing ing to Keramik but it made no difference.

Incidentally I seem to have solved the OpenOffice problem by installing OOO
3.0. A workaround rather than a solution I suppose but at least I can save
documents now.
