Can you test the following patch.
It sounds to me that current is set to NULL and that the garbage that can be 
read by current->getType() return on your machine one of the following value:
Uml::lvt_Logical_Folder or Uml::lvt_UseCase_Folder or 
Uml::lvt_Component_Folder.
